Coach O’Neil Ebanks is a highly respected Jamaican volleyball coach, educator, and mentor whose career spans over two decades of excellence in youth and national team development. Hailing from St. Elizabeth and based in Kingston, he is known for his strategic mind, motivational leadership, and unwavering commitment to building champions both on and off the court. As head coach of Jamaica’s U19 Girls Volleyball Team, he led the squad to victory in the 2024 CAZOVA Caribbean Championship, securing qualification for the 2025 Continental Championships. At the school level, his long-standing leadership at Wolmer’s Trust High School for Girls has produced numerous national titles and molded some of the island’s finest athletes. Coach Ebanks blends technical expertise with a passion for education, holding an FIVB Level 2 certification and a Master’s degree in Teacher Education. His influence stretches beyond coaching, as he continues to shape the future of Jamaican volleyball through mentorship, development programs, and his work with the NORCECA Development Commission.
